Which Charities?   I am supporting the Irish Cancer Society and the Alzheimer Society of Ireland in memory of my mother, Máire Gilmartin, who battled cancer and Alzheimers, loved perfume, and did a lot of good! You can donate to these or any charity you like – as long as you donate to a good cause, you’ll get perfume.

How much?   The suggested minimum donation is €10 per travel spray/€20-25 per mixtape. Many of these perfumes would retail at upwards of €70 per 50ml, some for a lot more and others for considerably less, so €7 to€10 per 8ml seems fair. Of course you’re very welcome to donate more.

What are the perfumes?   All sorts. Mostly scents which are not sold everywhere, but some very well known names – from heavy spicy Orientals to fresh greens and colognes. In the perfumes list, each perfume has a link to review pages on Basenotes, and they are listed by perfume ‘family’. More will be added – some kind souls have offered to donate some of their perfumes. Perfume gender is a marketing device – so I haven’t put masculine or feminine labels on the scents.

What if I don’t like perfume?   You know or would like to get to know somebody who does. Make their day!
